EXEDY Friction Material receives a Public Acknowledgement Award from the Thai Ministry of Labour

The Thai Ministry of Labour awarded Exedy Friction Material (EFM) for its excellence in environment, health, and safety, which now meets Thai national safety targets.

The award ceremony was held at Tawarawadee Hotel in Prachinburi, Thailand on July 20, 2011. EFM was one of 60 companies from seven eastern prefectures eligible for the award, and was awarded in recognition of its efforts and contributions to safety. This is the second year that EFM has won this prestigious award. EFM served as the host for this year’s safety exhibition as a representative of all companies in Chonburi prefecture. The Director of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare and the Chief of the Chonburi Labour Bureau Mrs. Aumporn Nitisri attended the exhibition.

Mrs. Aumporn Nitisri, the Director of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare, presented the award to EFM President Tomoaki Goto, saying, “Chonburi is the largest industrial area in Thailand. I hope that you do your best as a representative of Chonburi.”
